... and breathe.

Well that's that for the 2008 epics! Though intrinsically flawed/floored, hopefully they've been diverting enough to wade through. Quite often opinion seems to have been mistaken for fact - just so you know, i'm aware that not everyone thinks just like me! Oh, and for some reason The Flaming Lips and XTC posts switched places, but it's not terribly important.

Thank you very much for the comments (both here and elsewhere) and keep them coming! That way i know people are still reading! Hitherto i've been flogging my wares on message boards for fans of the artists i've been discussing, which is all well and good and nice for everyone, though i am essentially preaching to the converted. Ideally though, some random bod might type 'Julian Cope reviews' into Google and, hey presto, come across me rhapsodizing about the guy and be inspired to pick up something new. Then, he might notice the 'Scott Walker' post and fall in love all over again.

I might be getting ahead of myself, though.

Anyway, i'll try to keep this going for a little while at least - i've got a few things in the pipeline which i'll post as and when they're fully cooked. Don't worry though - they won't all be Ulysses-length efforts (though i've got my eye on a Beach Boys/Brian Wilson post which undeniably lends itself to extended ramblings). There might even be the odd break from music, let us wait and see.

Right now, i'm off for a lie down. Just resting my eyes...
